Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcement Innovation

Trailing Arm Pocket Reinforcement Innovation

It's no secret that with hard use the 90s-00s E chassis are prone to wear and cracking. To address this, many reinforcement kits on the market offer plates to strengthen the chassis.

We founds some ways to improve on trailing arm pocket reinforcements.

Our high toe trailing arm brackets allow for a increased range of toe adjustment by allowing further movement in the chassis pocket. Some reinforcements don't account for this and their plates don't follow the pockets closely. This restricts adjustment. We made our reinforcements follow the pocket profile for maximum clearance.

The chassis has raised bosses for the trailing arm bracket. These ensure that the bracket has support.

Our reinforcements are stamped to shape keeping the original design intent.

Almost all other reinforcements are thicker than the bosses and do not cover them. As a result, the bosses sit lower than the surrounding reinforced area, leaving the trailing arm bracket unsupported and introducing stress to the bracket.
